One last chance to see the Viking ship

The world largest Viking ship’s extraordinary Expedition America 2016 ends with a few days of onboard tours for visitors through Monday, October 10.
The Draken is docked near the 1841 National Historic Landmark Charles W. Morgan, America’s oldest commercial ship and the last wooden whaleship in the world at Mystic Seaport, the nation’s leading maritime museum. Swedish Captain Björn Ahlander will give two presentations on Thursday, October 13, at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the River Room of the museum. Tickets are available ($15-$20) at the museum’s website.
Draken Harald Hårfagre will stay at Mystic Seaport for the winter, but the crew will cover the boat in November and she will not be open to the public.
