In Chicago, on the traditional side, you may want to plan for a traditional fried herring breakfast at the museum: Fried herring twice a year (Not your everyday meal if you're born in Sweden after WWII or a regular at iHop)
In the east, the exhibition of Count Carl Gustaf Tessin's collection, the core of the original holdings of the National Museum in Stockholm is showing at The Morgan Library and Museum: Treasures from the Nationalmuseum of Sweden: The Collections of Count Tessin The Morgan Museum is at 225 Madison Avenue at 36th Street, NYC, a short walk from Grand Central and Penn Station.
Also, Swedish singer-song writer Tove Lo will be performed two concerts on the East coast. She'll be back to meet her U.S. fans in the Southwest, in California in April and in New York in June - at the Governor's Ball, Music Festival. More info, see www.tove-lo.com
