Swedish News, May 12: Working from home impacts people’s well-being
A large part of the Swedish workforce work at home during the pandemic - but many people do not like it shows a survey conducted by Kantar Sifo on behalf of Tele2. 1,000 people between the ages of 25 and 64 were asked and 58% of them think that working from home impact job satisfaction and 40% feel that their relationship with colleagues has deteriorated. Half of those surveyed think that their home job has a negative impact on the team spirit. -
57 new deaths - a total of 3,313 deaths in Sweden
Another 57 people have died from covid-19 in Sweden. The total death toll is now 3,313 according to the latest statistics from the Public Health Authority. A total of 27,272 have been confirmed to be infected by the coronavirus in Sweden. -
Sweden is far from 100,000 weekly tests
The number of tests for ongoing corona infection increased marginally last week, from just over 28,800 to close to 29,400, according to the Public Health Authority. That means Sweden is far from the government's target of 100,000 tests a week, which was supposed to be reached in mid-May. Laboratory capacity is there and the government has signaled dissatisfaction with how the regions are conducting local testing. In total, less than 150,000 have been tested so far. -
